designhouse by Andy Armstrong is a collection of Photoshop actions, brushes, custom shapes, and styles, as well as hi-res backgrounds, wallpapers, textures, digital mats, and photo objects. He's also recently released a set of greeting card templates and magazine cover templates for modern photographers. If you get a chance, go check it out. bu at least you can get those upclose images. Even with my 70-200 they aren't that close. Hmmmm must figure it out.
Ruth, where are you shooting from? Can you stand just behind a line judge. Knowing the game, you won't have a problem getting out of the way of plays.
When I shoot with the 50mm I stand behind the upref, or scoretable (but the down ref often gets in my way).
Balconies are great with the 70-200 also, especially if you can move around on them.
