designhouse by Andy Armstrong is a collection of Photoshop actions, brushes, custom shapes, and styles, as well as hi-res backgrounds, wallpapers, textures, digital mats, and photo objects. He's also recently released a set of greeting card templates and magazine cover templates for modern photographers. If you get a chance, go check it out. Meg, will your lens not open up more than 3.5? You are shooting at some serious ISO. This looks good.
No Cindy, it's a 2.8, and tho I know it's not that big a difference I like a bit more DOF...plus my lens is just not as sharp wide open. I am still fiddling with the settings tho. My next game I'm planning to go ahead and open it up and see if I can get the ISO down to 1600....I want to see the tradeoff - if less noise will make up for the slight loss in sharpness...we'll see.
Ya I try not to shoot higher than 800. I'm bad with grain though...I hate it! Nice action shot Meg!!
