I took this image the other night trying out high iso and low light. It didn't have much noise in it but I was going for a more gritty, contrasty black and white so I added some grain in PS. Does it look too bright? I am on a new LCD monitor and am having problems getting used to the brightness with it.ISO 1600, f5.6 (sorry shutter speed is missing in the exif data)

there isn't anything blown out in this image. For adding grain this looks great!!!

Thanks, Ruth and Cindy. I am actually using the Sony a-700, I've only had it a little over a week, but I am beginning to fall in love! The noise at high iso is amazing.
I love it - it does look like around her nose and mouth is a bit bright but could just be my own monitor. Great job!
