I agree Auto just doesn't do justice and I have been shooting manuel for over a year now that I am more comfy with my camera. I started out with film and when I moved to digital I just froze up - not sure why probably cause I am such a computer-phobe lol. But I do know some still use Auto so I just put down what my EXIF data says...lol

Beautiful image and your babe does have gorgous eyes!

Hey Arya ya i think Dslr do not shine at all in Auto. I have only ever used my camera ONCE in auto and was sadly disappointed. It was a bday party, rainy, dark and I had no batteries for my 580ex so I snapped it in Auto and couldn't believe how horrible it was haha. I have never used auto and couldn't imagine why anyone would. I am sure sometimes av/tv would come in handy but I never think to use them haha.......K what I want to know I guess is anyone on this blog using AUTO???? I doubt but if you are I'm coming after YOU! lol

Thxs, hes my lil man and I can't believe hes going to be 3 in dec :(

Whew...I'd hate to have Tesa 'come after me' so I'm sure glad I don't shoot in Auto...tee hee. I actually use Tv and Av once in awhile, but I'm mostly all manual now also. I thought it was just MY camera that was so bad at Auto, my old film camera was SO good and I just couldn't understand why I had trouble once I switched to digital...my pics greatly improved since I stopped using the Auto mode!!!

he is soooooooooooo cute. I find manual easier than auto. I dont' even use apeture or shutter priority. Just manual for me. Oh sometimes I put it in apeture priority to see what they say the settings should be to give me a starting point but that is it.
