ok I've been thinking and have heard back from a few. Jen??? did you not get the email cause I didn't hear from you! I'm really sorry if you didn't. But here goes.... All still want to be in the blog, all of us have good intentions....summer is BUSY BUSY BUSY. And we are photographers on top of that.

I agree with what everyone has said.

1. Make the themes meaningful
2. allow for our business to grow and feel overwhelmed
3. have fun with it and not make it a chore

so............. this is what I'm thinking. We started this blog for us to grow individually, so if you want to grow you have to push yourself. But there are gunna be days that you JUST CAN'T.

so, lets keep with the themes but lets' look for ways to make it meaningful. For example. If the theme is red.... (good one) also add a twist... dof, long exposure, flash, ps it, and we can repeat those things over and over because it is good for us.

So for next week. (starting tomorrow) and this is a biggy....please read.

...at ILP and lets do it. You just need complete darkness. I think you will all be very surprised at what you'll find out. I'm gunna have to re read it for me to understand as well. But the premise is, your flash freezes the action and your camera lets in the light. You can make a completely dark room look like daylight. It is called dragging the shutter. You set your shutter really slow but the flash stopped the action so you could totally walk out of the frame while the shutter is still open and you photo will be tack sharp. Best to ready it.

So Meg, could you redo your themes?? Using the ones you did and put something else with it. Life DOF for the whole week....or flash for the whole week.

sorry for being so long winded. Man, I'm tired now!! LOL

ok I got a problem, I don't have a external flash to do this. I'm all natural lighting! So you want me to just post pics that I took with natural lighting in a house?

Hey Ruth, I like the idea even tho I'm more into natural lighting myself (flash scares me). I'll have to read the entire ILP thread to find out just what you want us to do....and maybe I'll learn something?

ps. let me know if you get my email, I'm trying to find out if we have a problem with our computer.
