designhouse by Andy Armstrong is a collection of Photoshop actions, brushes, custom shapes, and styles, as well as hi-res backgrounds, wallpapers, textures, digital mats, and photo objects. He's also recently released a set of greeting card templates and magazine cover templates for modern photographers. If you get a chance, go check it out. You can see designhouse at http://www.getdesignhouse.com. There's a whole bunch of video tutorials in the dh learning center too.

Hey, this looks pretty good, not to flashy, I can see some background. What were your settings? Remember, you can go REALLY low on the SS with flash. A good starting point is ISO 400, SS 1/40 and AP 2.8. Then tweak from there. The SS controls the amount of ambient light, not the subject, the flash is soley for the subject, bounced is best. That's why I love the Flip-it because I get bounced flash even outside. Of course, I have bounced the flash off the white reflector also and that works great too. I'm working mostly now on getting the flash off camera and learning the CLS system.
I had to use a ss of way long than that. I'll check my settings after church. I'm gunna just have to get a flip I think.
Ok CLS system? That is why we need to talk on the phone girlfriend. Besides I like your cute little accent.. LOL
ha! thanks
