Making Faces

I just got a new lens and wanted to try it out - here is the image I captured of Sam & Ruth making faces at me. I just love my new lens - it's very versatile and will be a great help when I am in tight spots and great for large wedding parties.

ISO: 200, AP: f/2.8 SS: 1/60 Bounced Flash used

So, do tell...which lens did you get? This image looks familiar to me. Do they make this face often when you want to test a new lens?

It's a promaster (they slap their names on other brand lenses - this lens is a tamaron one - if that makes any sense) 17-50mm 2.8 AF Macro lens. I got it for a great deal - it usually retails for $500 new, It got it with a backup battery for my camera and a filter for my 50mm lens for under $240. I was super happy. It's a good lens and pretty sharp too. I can't wait to try it on the D200 when I pick it up.

Congratulations. I hear that the Tamron 17-50 is a GREAT lens.
