More Basketball

And on a personal note...the woman in the background, between the 2 boys heads, is the Exeter player's mother.... I love that I got her watching!

that is cool. Ya know I was going to comment on your last picture about the woman just to the left of your son with the white hair and how bored she looks...LOL But I'm glad you got this one with the other mom. I just figured it was the opposing teams parents. LOL

SOH here with the rest of the story. The young man is JC and his mother's name is Cathy. His father and her husband was the former basketball coach at our high school. He died unexpectedly at the age of 45 two summers ago. This is JC's senior year and the team is full of good kids, but not good basketball players. JC is the lone exception. He plays every minute of every game at full speed, often on the floor diving, rolling , fighting for the ball. He routinely scores over half of the teams points, not because he is a ballhog; the rest can't/won't score. He is honoring the game and his father superbly.
The most amazing part of the photo is that Maureen took a picture at probably the only moment that Cathy wasn't yelling at someone, usually JC. She is a wonderful person, but quite a show at games.

SOH
