Forgive me - life has gotten crazy and I am packing up a storm - we are looking to move with in the next few weeks to month. It's been in sane.
Here is a picture taken of the gerbils today. This is only 4 of them - we are missing one of the white babies.

Nothing happened to the little guy - he just left the little bowl before I could catch the shot...really he's fine.
LOL....I was thinking you'd find him in a shoe! Glad to hear he was just missing in the pic :)
