My senior yesterday

When I photographing boys...I'm totall outside my comfort zone! I just don't know what to do with them... LOL

Favorite Senior!

I had such a fun time with my senior! Isn't she just beautiful! She also came with me to my meetup and modeled for the other photographers too. She was so wonderful. I just love photographing her.

My Autumn Fairy samples

My daughters surgery has been rescheduled so I figured I better get my Mini Session samples done early. The older girl came in to be my model and since her baby sister was sound asleep I asked mom if we could do some of the two of them. I'm not sure if I want to use these as samples since most newborns would take more work to get to sleep and I'm not sure if I could get that done during the mini session. Aren't they cute though?!

More Gerbils

I was trying to find ways to get the gerbils to engage me - or at the very least get into better positions for me to photograph them well and so I opened one of the "doors" and they peeked out and looked around. So as you can see both the white babies are fine - one was just missing for the last capture of them - I didn't realize it sounded like he was gone forever....lol

ok we need to discuss if we want to keep this going or not! :) Please email me your feelings!

{forgive me}

Forgive me - life has gotten crazy and I am packing up a storm - we are looking to move with in the next few weeks to month. It's been in sane.

Here is a picture taken of the gerbils today. This is only 4 of them - we are missing one of the white babies.

from my bridal today

I have lots of others. I'm a little bummed because I blew out her dress in some. I wish I had someone to ask questions in the throws of battle... LOL

From Friday

I had a camera malfunction with my flash outside so we are going to redo the outside portion on Monday. I hate that! But they were really nice and understanding. Here is one from inside. I overexposed by two stops for this look.

Little Sweetheart

I really enjoyed my session with this adorable 2 month old. We did set changes and a couple different outfits and she slept twice (when she first got there and about an hour into the session) so I had a chance to get some cute snoozing shots. Her mom talked about bringing her back in when she is 6 months and I can hardly wait.

Outtake

My kids were not cooperating at all - as you can see ruth didn't want to look at the camera but at me instead....lol

It's Football Season!

I'm doing the program for the team again. I got asked to do this just as I was sending off the camera for a few adjustments, so that will have to wait a bit. I'm hoping (and praying) that it preforms :)

I'm just now getting around to posting images from the fair in July. Here is one for you all!

Bridal

This is one of my good friends that I took pictures of for her Bridal Session, we got up to Lookout Mountain at 5:45 am, that hurt, but the photos are totally worth it. I will post more as I get them done.

Day at the Museum

Last week, we went to the Museum of Nature and Science here in Denver. We all had a great time, the Dinosaurs were the favorite. But anything that had buttons was a close second. All available light, ss125 f 1.4 with 30mm 1.4.

Kittys and more kittys

Did you know that a cat can give birth twice in a 6-month period?
I didn't :0

Giant kitty is a sibling....not the parent!

BTW....we ship international.

1 week old

So here are my babies - we have 2 black, 2 white and one that is a nice creamy tan color with black eyes. They are one week old Today.

Castanon Family

This family was pretty funny none of them would smile they wanted serious pictures, but I eventually talked them into it :D . Anyway this is one of my favorites of that session

Last nights Bridal

Just sharing one for now, but there will be more to come. I really enjoyed shooting this sweet girl's bridals, she was very easy going and we even got to go outside for a few. I can't wait to share those, they include a beautiful rainbow!

Andrew

Sorry, I've been kind of lazy about posting lately. And tomorrow the camera goes into the shop so I will be relying on old files (that I need to work on anyway:)

Sibling Sunset

I shot a brother and sister that worship with us last night (sounds funny, I shot them haha). Anyway, it was hard to pose them since I'm so used to posing couples. Here is a sunset silhouette that I really liked.

At the Ballard Locks

Here are my friends from Denmark while we were out tourning the town. When I saw this I made them run up to the light to get in it... LOL

Gerbil Babies

SETTINGS: ISO: 100 AP: f/2.8 SS:1/60 Bounced flash used

I found 5 little babies this morning in Stewart & Shadows cage. They are all naked and are quite adorable. It was just what I needed to help curb my feelings of wanting another baby at this time.

2 appear to be white like their daddy Stewart and 2 look like they will be dark like their mommy Shadow AND one looks like it will be a combo of both - white all over except a nice black stripe like a raccoon across it's eyes and down it's side.

Yes, we plan on keeping them. The cage is big enough and I planned on making it bigger anyways so no worries on space. I wish it was so easy to just expand our own living space the way I can the gerbils.

almost there

I'm really close to having my beach scene done! I still have to work on the background to get it tighter and plant the plants in the background. These are my friends that are visiting me from Denmark.

Angel Baby

I just started uploading these from my session today and fell in love with this one. This sweet little one year old was such a great model, I will have a ton of proofs for her mom to go through, probably twice as many as normal.
