Just wanted to share my workflow. It takes of all 2 min if that and it's not even cropped this is my in camera crop.

designhouse by Andy Armstrong is a collection of Photoshop actions, brushes, custom shapes, and styles, as well as hi-res backgrounds, wallpapers, textures, digital mats, and photo objects. He's also recently released a set of greeting card templates and magazine cover templates for modern photographers. If you get a chance, go check it out. Ruth here is what I did:
Please note everything is on it's own layer.
Screen layer, adjust color, burn & dodge, clone out background then sharpened.
Cindy I just go under IMAGE>ADJUSTMENTS>COLOR BALANCE
When the pallet pulls up I adjust the midtones colors, then I do the shadows and if the highlights need color adjustment then I do it but mostly I never do. I hope this helps.
Maureen I took a digital color photography class when I first got photoshop - it taught me some of the basic stuff like cropping, doing triptychs, cloning and such, but most everything I do now I learned from trial and error and reading forums like ILP, Shuttermom and Sweetspot and of course tutorials I come across during my google searches. It's taken me 2 years to get to this point and I am still learning.
Not to bug you here Arya...but what is 'screen layer' and what are you burning and dodging?

You go under LAYER>DUPLICATE LAYER then go into the layers pallet and click on the drop down box and click on BLENDING OPTIONS a small box will appear. There is a drop down menu where it says BLEND MODE that is where you will click on SCREEN - thus creating the screen layer.
You can adjust this layers opacity by moving the sliders in the blending box. I hope this helps.
I burn the shadows of his eyes and dodge the highlights in his eyes - nothing too much just a quick sweep of his eye at low opacity.
