I stopped at a friend's house the other day and spent about 10 mins taking pictures of her new baby. I did this "bits" collage for her. I'm thinking a macro lens would work better for these shots. Do you guys use a macro for the really close-ups of newborns?

I like this montage Cindy, with or without the macro (which I don't own either :)
I just zoom in from a standing height and it usually works pretty good. Keeps wild arms from hitting the camera too :)
