Ready, Set....Go!

I think this could be a good shot, but I need to change a few things next time. I will get back further so I don't cut off so much of the heads, I will position myself on the other side so I am not shooting directly into the sun (which was actually impossible for this one because of the fence) and I will shoot with the focus locked instead of Al servo.....live and learn :)

ISO200, ss640, f4.

ps. and that's my lovely daughter watching at the fence.

Okay, for me your daughter in the background makes the image. I agree with not cutting off the heads, but it's really good for shooting in the sun. You are rocking it girl!

I like this shot the way it is, I agree with Cindy about your dd. But, if you do try this again, I would lay down closer to the ground, chop more of the upper body off and focus on the feet.

You guys gave me such a different perspective on this, thanks!

...and cool idea Courtney, funny thing is my husband said the same thing, he liked just the legs.

ps. I was kind of trying to get the Exeter runner's face because he is famous for his intense expressions while he runs....you can see that in this one!
