Studio ??? haha
I had a friend need a business portrait for an award announcement in his company's newsletter. I set up my flash in a shoot thru umbrella to camera left and a silver reflector to the right with two lights on the background. Unfortunately the background lights weren't high enough (too lazy to get stands out of car). Other than that, any CC on lighting? Do you think the umbrella was high enough? Too high? etc...

ok I don't want to cc this because, well just because, buttttttttttttttttt since you asked. I think the light (or his nose) it just not lined up right. I think the main should have been a touch closer to you. I say this because instead of a loop around the bottom of his nose you have his whole nose shaded. Like the shot though and for not having a studio it is a great job!! xoxo
I did want you to CC! I noticed that the catchlight was at 9 rather than 10. But doesn't moving the main closer to me make the light more harsh?
oh, do you mean more in front of him rather than closer to me?
are you using a softbox? I did mean bring is closer to you just a tad. 45degrees. But I'm sooo not one to judge.. LOL
you are sooo the one to judge, I used a shoot through umbrella
