My New Helper
I did bridal portraits of my niece yesterday. I let my 14 year old bring my D70 and take pictures too. This is one of the images that she captured.
Making Faces
I just got a new lens and wanted to try it out - here is the image I captured of Sam & Ruth making faces at me. I just love my new lens - it's very versatile and will be a great help when I am in tight spots and great for large wedding parties.

Engagement Session
We hiked up to bridal veil falls and took some engagement pictures for my friend Melissa and Doug. I still can't believe I got all the way up there with all of my gear!
I'm finally sharing an image again
I have been so busy with family life that I haven't been shooting much, so I didn't have anything new to share. My daughter's surgery had to be rescheduled because of an infection, but my 2nd daughter broke her foot so she had plenty of doctor visits to go to, to make up for the time we didn't spend in the hospital! But....It is finally spring here (YEAH!!) and I have been working outside in the yard every spare minute, so here's an image from my garden.
It was very windy so I had to up my iso pretty high to use a faster ss.
